So... I had a dream the other night... Really weird...
I dreamt Ryan and I were in a mall and the power went out, all but a few back up lights and such.
I went into the pet store and was passing the time by looking at the fishtanks. The store owner (which kinda made me think of the owner of the anime store up at college.. fat, ugly, and weirds me out!) keep watching me as I slowly walked down the aisles. It was all normal except when I got to the end, at the bottom I saw a young girl, maybe 16 yrs old, crammed into a tiny tank at the bottom. It was dark, and she looked horribly sad and uncomfortable. The store owner, now right behind me, explained that she was taken against her will and was forced to undergo experiments, mutating her into half human/half octopus. After that, I tried to sneak away, but the store owner kept following me (I was under the impression I would come to the same fate as the octopus girl). But I found my way out of the store and then I woke up.

Silly, I know... But it gave me inspiration for this piece.

Also, this is the first piece I've ever done with (Prismacolor) markers, and I used a bit of colored pencil. I think it turned out rather well.
